Heavy Duty Mechanic

About the role:

• Service and repair of Prime Movers, Side Lift, Rear Lift, and Hook Lift Trucks
• Maintaining various plant, including loaders, excavators, materials handlers, grinders, shredders, generators, and other site equipment’s
• Work on a wide range of hydraulic and diesel machinery, plus petrol/diesel small plant and pumps
• Record keeping; service logs, tyre registers, quarterly reconciliation, managing stock and inventory requirements
• Other duties where required

Experience - Qualifications essential:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with the use of oxyacetylene cutting
• Trade Certificate in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Current and valid WA HR Drivers’s Licence
• Forklift Licence – desirable
• Working at Heights - desirable
• Dogging & Rigging Tickets - desirable
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening
